The Pinchuk Future Generation Art Prize 2012 shortlist has been announced.
Established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Future Generation Art Prize is an international competition for artists up to 35 to discover, recognize and give long-term support to a future generation of emerging artists. The Prize is an innovative award, investing in the artistic development and new production of works.
The international jury will chose and announce the winner, who will receive $60,000 in cash and $40,000 toward production of new work, at the Award Ceremony on December 7, 2012 in Kiev, Ukraine. An additional $20,000 from the Foundation will be allotted to fund artist-in-residency programs to the prizewinner.
