EXPO CHICAGO is proud to present Annely Juda Fine Art as an exhibiting gallery from London for our September debut. Annely Juda Fine Art represents contemporary British, European and international artists. The gallery also exhibits masters of the 20th century avant-garde, specializing in Russian constructivism. Annely Juda Fine Art presents two incredible exhibitions by Roger Ackling and Peter Kalkhof.
Roger Ackling
Roger Ackling’s exhibition, High Noon, consists of new works from the last three years. Ackling curates his exhibitions himself, hanging his works in thought provoking ways to create powerful installations. He subtly alters the space around each of the works so that they have their own presence.

For over forty years Ackling has created small intimate sculptures using a meticulous method. He directs sunlight through a hand held magnifying glass, burning images of the sun in lines directly on to the wood. He uses found and rescued materials, including bits of driftwood, clothes pegs and picture frames, and using his process of burning, creates works that are simple but powerful.
High Noon is on display through April 28, 2012.

Peter Kalkhof
Peter Kalkhof returns for his tenth exhibition at Annely Juda Fine Art. Born in Germany and living in London, Kalkhof has been inspired by anything colorful in nature or in man-made objects from an early age. The use of the straight and curved line and painted color fields in grids, circles and squares, have been distinctive elements in his work throughout his career.

Kalkhof directs our attention to historically resonant forms and primary basic colors, which exist across many cultures and periods of time. He also has a curiosity for ancient and modern cultures, particularly the Orient, and reflects on their use of geometry.
The exhibition is on display through April 28, 2012.
