Recognized for her innovative use of materials and process-based abstract painting, Molly Zuckerman-Hartung is one of Chicago’s most promising emerging artists. The exhibition presents new paintings that incorporate collage, found objects and sculptural elements in new and unexpected ways that push beyond traditional notions of painting.
Curated by MCA Pamela Alper Associate Curator Julie Rodrigues Widholm, BMO Harris Bank Chicago Works: Molly Zuckerman-Hartung is the artist’s first solo museum exhibition.
The MCA is an innovative center of contemporary art and culture that allows the public to experience the work and ideas of living artists. As a compelling place for discovery and thought, visitors can access the historical, social and cultural context of the art of our time.
